These two animations were drawn by hand, frame by frame. I've always been fascinated by the artists and animators who make their drawings come to life in 2D. After slowly scrubbing through frames in Akira and The Last Airbender, I was inspired to start practicing this timeless animating art form.
What is Hero Storm?
Hero Storm is an elite team of RC drifters whose goal is to perform, inspire, and grow the RC drift and scale community. Each year, 3 drivers are chosen to represent Rain, Thunder, and Lightning.
The Rain Driver is chosen for their skills and placement in competitions and events.
The Thunder Driver is chosen for their technical knowledge and prowess regarding chassis and electronics setup.
The Lightning Driver is chosen for their unique drifting style and consistent tandems.
At the end of each year, each driver will choose an heir to take on their mantle. For example, the Lightning Driver may select a driver they believe to have the best driving style.
